Until then, brands are getting creative with the tech: - Higher Life CBD Dispensary opened a virtual brick-and-mortar storefront in Voxels that sees **~1k visitors** daily. A virtual cash register links out to its actual website for purchases. - Another company, Kandy Girl, has sold **$30k** in weed-themed virtual wearables, including marijuana-leaf wings for avatars. #### **But there are hurdles** For starters, the scale isn’t there yet. Globally, [**11.2m**](https://www.idc.com/getdoc.jsp?containerId=prUS48969722#:~:text=NEEDHAM%2C%20Mass.%2C%20March%2021,Quarterly%20AR%2FVR%20Headset%20Tracker.) VR headsets were shipped in 2021. Many users are likely children. Regulation also varies.
